Men’s Group
The 21st century is proving to be a challenging time for men, especially those of us who are Christians. Very often, men feel isolated particularly in the workplace and have few people that thy can turn to for support in their faith.
In Herefordshire, we would like to form a Men’s Group that will provide a place of fellowship and teaching in a relaxed, informal and safe atmosphere, a chance for us to be build relationships and to grow in our faith together.
Next Meeting
The next meeting of the group will be held at Holy Trinity RC Church Parish Hall, Ledbury on Saturday 6th March at 8.30am.
On this occasion we are delighted to welcome Charles Whitehead as our guest speaker.
Charles has a background in the paper industry, previously serving as Managing Director of Fiskeby ltd, Holmen Paper lrd and MoDo Packaging ltd between 1980 and 1995. He became Chairman of Mo and Domsjo UK ltd in 1996. Charles was made a freeman of the City of London in 1993, received a Papal Knighthood from Pope John Paul II in 2003, and now writes for a number of Christian magazines in the UK and beyond. He is married to Sue and has led an ecumenical prayer group since 1979.
